The Royal Navy Senior XV are the third and final Service team to play Cambridge University this season in their annual fixture at Burnaby Road on Weds evening KO 1930. After defeats by Oxford and Esher the Navy are keen to notch up their first win of the season as they prepare for the Inter Service Championship 2013 (IS13). The RNW are to play Trojans at HMS Collingwood tomorrow night 6 March 2013 (kick off 1930). It will be their final pre inter services game. NAVAL SERVICE REFEREES STEP-UP TO THE CHALLENGE

On a bitterly cold Sunday morning 4 Naval Service Referees answered a late notice call from Gosport & Fareham RFC U13 section - to ensure that a Community Rugby 7-a-side tournament could go ahead. The tournament was the brainchild of LS (CIS) (Nathan) Moore (HMS Edinburgh), but due to him currently being deployed there was some initial confusion as to who was arranging the match officials. Thankfully a call to the local Service Area Secretary Mr Simon Aldridge ensured that officials were provided, and the tournament could go ahead.
