Navy Cup Final 2013 – Preview

The Navy Cup competition was first competed for back in 1972 when the former HMS Ark Royal became the only ship to ever win the Navy Cup. This year, the 42nd Royal Navy Rugby Cup final, will take place on Wednesday 4 December 2013 in Devonport, Plymouth. Due to strong support for the competition this year, it has also been possible to run a Plate competition concurrently. Royal Navy Mariners – Getting Ready for a Demanding Season

The Royal Navy Mariners will meet for the first time this season to play HMS Heron on 4 Dec 13 (KO 1430).  The match will be the first chance to look at a wealth of new talent recently recruited.  This game will give newly appointed Head Coach, Lt Paul Clark (BRNC) the opportunity to assess the new players along with looking at player combinations for the forthcoming season.
