Royal Navy Rugby Union Announces Alligin Photography Partnership

he Royal Navy Rugby Union have signed a three year contract with Alligin Photography for imagery, articles and access to the Alligin Photography research project on the History of Navy Rugby. The agreement will see Alligin Photography provide a variety of high class action imagery from a cross- section of representative matches and key Union events. As part of the on-going development of the RNRU's communications activities, Alligin Photography will provide both match reports and a number of feature articles throughout the season. There will also be a virtual link from the re-designed RNRU website, planned to go-live in early Sep 13, to Alligin Photography's History of Navy Rugby information so that followers of Navy Rugby can get easy access to all the news, stories and history from within the RNRU site.

Commenting on the agreement, the RNRU's Director of Communications, Rachel Scandling, said; "The RNRU Communications Strategy continues to evolve, and we are delighted to welcome Alligin Photography on-board. There are exciting times ahead for our Navy Rugby followers, including a redesigned website, improved interactive social media and a new kit provider for the forthcoming season; Alligin Photography is an integral part of this strategy as the RNRU moves forward. "

For Alligin Photography, Geraint Ashton Jones, said; "We are very pleased to be an official provider of imagery to the Royal Navy Rugby Union. The action imagery we capture today forms the historical record of tomorrow so the role fits neatly with our on-going project to catalogue and publish a comprehensive account of the fascinating history that is Navy Rugby."
