England Through, Pool Decider to Come

England have progressed through to the trophy competition with a routine victory over the French. They will now face New Zealand in the pool decider. The first half was a strangely low scoring affair. The only points being a Chris Craknell try converted by Ben Gollings. However a try in the first minute of the second half from Ben, followed two minutes later by Micky Young scoring his fourth try of the competition saw England stretch to a 21 - 0 lead, both tries being converted by Ben Gollings. Ben Gollings then saw yellow and was sin binned which allowed France a consolation try at the finish. Final score England 21 France 7.
