HMS Drake go down fighting to the Mightly 'O'
HMS Drake's 3rd fixture of the season was against HMS Ocean which promised to be a good clash and a hard match. HMS Drake struggled to put out their side from recent matches due to on-going commitments.
The passion of the game was evident from the kick-off as the tackles came in hard and fast. HMS Ocean scored first but HMS Drake soon capitalised and brought the score back to even with an explosive burst of pace and try from NA (AH) (Wiggy) Bennett which was converted by AB (Tom) Ryan. HT (5-7).
HMS Ocean stayed the stronger of the 2 teams and made some quality breaks to secure two more tries taking the final score to 15-7.
