RN Senior XV Return to 'The Rec'

After some time the Royal Navy returns to one of the West Countries most famous grounds The Rec, home of Bath RFC to face a Bath Academy side which is bristling with talent, many of whom have tasted Premiership rugby during this season.

This game will be the RN Senior XV final game in there preparation for the first of 3 capped games against the Marine Nationale in Toulon on Wednesday 11 Apr, following this the opening game of the 2012 Babcock Inter Service Championship on Wednesday 18 April in Portsmouth against the Royal Air Force and the final game of the Championship at Twickenham on the Saturday 28 April against the present holders of the Babcock Trophy the Army.

Royal Navy Director of Rugby Lt Cdr (Andy) Kellett RN commented ' this is a great opportunity, not only for the players to experience a game at one of the biggest clubs in England, but also the level of opposition is just what we need at this stage to test ourselves against what I am sure will be a very hard, competitive and 'Premiership savvy' team'.
