Royal Navy Shark's Ready To Test The Water

The Royal Navy Sharks 7’s team will take to the field for the first time this year on Sat 05 Jul at Slough 7’s; the squad has been selected from players who took part in the RNRU 7’s competition, and established representative 7’s players from last season.

It has been decided that the sevens team will be used as a player development pathway for the U23 and Senior XV representative sides; allowing fringe players to develop and showcase their talent in the shorter version of the game allowing the DoR and HC’s visibility of players they may not have had the opportunity to witness previously.

The Sharks will play in four tournaments over four weekends in July as follows;
Sat 05 Jul                  Slough 7s
Sat 12 Jul                  Cambridge 7s
Sat 19 Jul                  Swindon 7s
