Royal Navy Rugby Union – Women’s’ Team Manager

Are you looking for a new challenge outside of your normal day job? Do you want to be part of a sports team who have grown from strength to strength and continue to do so, with a very exciting future ahead, if so, look no further. The RN Women’s rugby squad are looking for a RN/RM (regular or reserve) serving member to take on the role of RNRU(W) Team Manager (TM), working alongside the other seven members of the Team Support Group.  The role is varied and full Terms of Reference can be provided to anyone interested.  

The TM will need to have basic IT skills to ensure that the squad database is kept up to date and produce admin orders. The TM will need to be well organised to book accommodation, training facilities, sports pitches & equipment and transport as required throughout the season. Have good communications skills to engage with opposition teams, liaise with caterers for all victualing requirements, liaise with referees, and engage with RNRUW players to manage availability for matches to ensure maximum availability of players for each game.
