The inaugural Rugby Aid charity match, featuring former international players, celebrities and serving members of the Armed Forces, will take place at Harlequins’ Twickenham Stoop stadium on Friday, 4 September, at 19:45.  The match will also be shown live on BT Sport.

The fixture is in aid of Rugby For Heroes, which raises funds and awareness through the sport of rugby, the fan community and the wider professional player network to support military personnel who are making the transition back from military service to civilian life.

An England team made up of former and current international rugby players will play a star studded Rest of the World XV including Celebrities and 2 players from each Service.  RNRU players Marsh Cormack and John Court have been specifically invited by the organisers to take part in this fixture.

John Court said "It is a massive honour to be asked to take part in this charity match, which is raising funds for fellow military personnel, and to represent the RNRU alongside my rugby heroes."
