Latest RFU Guidance released

The RFU have announced that, with the exception of Premiership, Championship, Premier 15s and Elite15s rugby, no organised RFU or non-RFU Leagues, adult or age grade competitions will be played before 2021 at the earliest.

This means that the U23 Inter-Service Championship and all Royal Navy community rugby competitions scheduled to take place in 2020 have been cancelled.

Notwithstanding the guidance, all Royal Navy Units are encouraged to participate in non-contact fixtures against other local units and clubs using the Ready4Rugby game and restricted contact training may be conducted in accordance with the current RFU guidelines.

Furthermore, the Women’s Development and Men’s U23 teams intend to hold training / development sessions over the coming months and details of these will be published in the coming weeks.

Please contact the RNRU Rugby Development Officer, Ady Cherrington, adycherrington@RFU.com should you require assistance or guidance about your return to rugby.
