Navy Referees for Army U21 v RAF U21
The RNRURS has selected an experienced team of three for the Army v Air Force U21 Inter Services match this Saturday at Aldershot. Tim Bailey takes charge of this fixture for the second time having also been a touch judge on three other occasions. Tim, who is on the RFU National TJ Panel, is supported by Andy Watts as Senior TJ. Like Tim, Andy has also refereed this fixture in the past and is another of the Society’s members who is currently on the RFU National TJ Panel. The threesome is completed by Andy Nelson who has been appointed as Junior TJ. This is Andy’s debut at Inter Service U21 level and continues the RNRURS policy of bringing through new talent. No doubt Sid Cole, Team Manager for Navy Youth, will be talking to Tim after the game to get any pointers for the up coming RN U21 v Army U21 match at Burnaby Road on 10 Dec. Tim and Sid are both based at Abbeywood and I am sure that Sid, along with coach Steve Sinclair, will wish to seek any advantage as they build on the recent success over the RAF U21.
